Students from Sindhudurg district are very talented. They should dream big and continue working hard to achieve their goals. Parents should give their children the right opportunities and support them throughout their careers so that Sindhudurg becomes known as a district that produces administrative officers, said Padma Shri Parshuram Gangawane.
He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the Meritorious Students and Teachers Felicitation Ceremony, jointly organized by Kokan Kala Va Shikshan Vikas Sanstha (Kokan NGO India) and Vetal Pratishthan Sindhudurg (Tulas).
He said that students should use mobile phones, digital technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for positive and productive purposes. They should build self-confidence and prepare well for competitive examinations.
The event was attended by Tahsildar Shridhar Patil, President Dayanand Kubal, Police Sub-Inspector Madhuri Mulik, Principal Dr. Ashwini Lele, Prof. Rupesh Patil, Sunil Raool, Rujul Patankar, journalist Abhimanyu Lodhe, Headmaster Ramchandra Ghavare, journalists Anand Dhond, Sushil Chougule, Prasanna Desai, Mansi Parab, D.S. Jambhekar, and many other dignitaries.
Tahsildar Shridhar Patil encouraged students to build a strong educational foundation and develop a habit of reading. Police Sub-Inspector Madhuri Mulik advised students to participate in competitive exams and stay aware of cyber safety. Principal Dr. Ashwini Lele said that parents should understand their children’s interests and abilities and support them. Prof. Rupesh Patil appreciated the organization’s social and educational work.
Dayanand Kubal, President of Kokan NGO India, stated that the organization will continue to support students and help produce more administrative officers through competitive examinations. More than 300 meritorious students were honoured with certificates and gifts. Headmasters and representatives of schools that achieved 100% results were also felicitated.
Prof. Shirke delivered the welcome speech, Prof. Sachin Parulkar hosted the programme, and Prathamesh Sawant gave the vote of thanks.
